Final decision

I decided to pick question 4, on how two social grounds use a specific social media platform. Which is how a business marketing user uses Facebook and student user uses Facebook.

How do business uses Facebook? Facebook is a social utility which we can connect to friends, family, work or study. We can share or upload videos, pictures, and thoughts to learn more about the person. In the year of 2004 Facebook made up six primary components: personal profiles, status updates, networks (geographic regions, schools, companies), groups, applications and fan pages. With this new feature "Fan page", is has been used to create a page for business. Which we as the users can visit the page and naturally become a fan of the page. When the users' friends visit their personal profile page sees they’ve become a fan of another organization that interests them, they would like to become part a fan themselves. Creating more and more users to become part of a fan. Facebook fan page have the ability to communicate with their fans through targeted messages, for example your age and the page you visit to help them organize the page's target.

They are many fan pages on Facebook, but the most effective and seen is on Facebook food and beverage marketing, popular food brands for example McDonald, Starbucks, KFC and so on.

How students uses Facebook? Facebook are use majority of undergraduate students, these students use the site to create groups and pages for education purpose. They use Groups or private messages to coordinate group meetings and were most likely to use chat and private messaging to complete an assignment. Students are using Facebook’s features, to facilitate their academic goals. Student find many of their peers on the site, and unlike email or course management services like Blackboard, students can find out more about one another through the profile in addition to sending messages and coordinating events.

Such as a private group for classmates and teacher to share information, and assignment in the group. The teachers can use facebook to teach and help students with their work.
