Student and Facebook

Facebook is often use by student, they do create a group page just for their class. Some of theme create it find old classmate and gathering up together again. But some are to create to communicate with their classmate and lectures, helping them on their works. 

According to one of the research,Facebook is a tool that is widely used by college students as a social communication platform. Some of these users are repurposing Facebook as a tool for classroom organizing and supporting collaborations that are instructor-sanctioned—as well as those that are not.

Facebook as a education tool, it is not only use for creating a group to just communicate. It is also a way which student can discuss their homework. Why using Facebook? Because is easy and there is no need to waste there time to ask it face-to-face. 

One of the study, is that students viewed Facebook as a valuable learning resource that enhanced the learning experience. The students’ active participation in the Facebook trial exercise and their agreement to its use suggested that they were interested in using it. The students found Facebook beneficial because it made it easier for them to attend group meetings in cyberspace. 

They also indicated that it saved them money and time because the majority leave off-campus. Facebook also enabled the students to freely share experiences with one another as shown in the extract below: Working as a team may be difficult but sometimes interesting. It depends on the attitudes and behaviors of a team.
