  • I did some general research, and explore more on the two topic before I pick my final question.
3rd post: Final decision 
  • I have decide the question that I am going to research on. Which I talk about some of the point and research. How busniess user use Facebook to market their product, and how student user use Facebook for their assignments and work.
4th post: Why Facebook
  • Before I look into the topic, I try to do research on Facebook. Because of the media platform I am choosing is Facebook, so I talk about why does so many people in the world used Facebook.
5th post: Social media
  • Social media is one of the important keyword in the topic. So I did research on what is social media. 
6th post: Feature of Facebook 
  • On the specific social group that I pick is business user. So I share a video of what Facebook is able to help businesses to do marketing. 
7th post: Facebook marketing vs other social media marketing
  • In this post I research about why most businesses user try to use Facebook as their tool to promote. I try to compare Facebook with the other media platform, and show the function of the social platform is for. 
8th post: Facebook advertising
  • I show one of the feature of advertising in Facebook, as one of the tool for brand and company to advertise their product. But also find that Facebook sell our personal information to some company, and show us the perfect advertisement base on our favorite things.  
9th post: Student and Facebook
  • Student is also one of the group which I compare with business user. I research on how student use Facebook for, and what do they think about Facebook. They see it as a education tool to communicate with classmate and lecture to help their work.  
10th post: How do they promote?
  • In the last post I try to give a example of Coca-cola how did they use the feature of Facebook with their promoting. Coca-cola have a successful fan page on Facebook, as I given example of it.

The topic that I have pick is question 4 "Compare and contrast how two different communities or social groups use a specific social media platform. Which of the two groups has more to gain and why?"  So what is a social media ? It is a web-based and mobile technologies on smartphones and tablet computers that enable us to create and share content like pictures, information, video, audio. How do they advertise their product? For example some advertisement on the side of Facebook news feed page and the game you play on Facebook there is always on small box on the side or bottom that always come out.  There is always some ads coming from the sidebar of your Facebook page, and it is showing cloths, foods and other stuff to make you purchase. It is part of a marketing strategy. Facebook advertising offers users or consumers the opportunity to interact actively with the adverts on their page allowing them to “like” and “share” and also view who else or which friends liked or shared the same adverts.
